Eileen Mackintosh is a lifelong multi-faceted musician. Coming from a musical family, she began her musical studies at the age of four with piano lessons and has been pursuing excellence with integrity ever since.

Recent singing performance highlights include the roles of Konstanze (Die Entfurung aus dem Serail), Abigaille (Nabucco), Desdemona (Otello) Fiordiligi (Cosi fan tutte), Lady Macbeth (Macbeth), Aida (Aida), Frau Fluth (Merry Wives of Windsor) and Hanna Glawari (Merry Widow). In November 2012, Ms. Mackintosh sang the leading role of Queen Eleanor in Becket, by Bernard Kennedy; a pastiche opera using the music of Verdi, Gounod and Massenet with Long Island Masterworks. She made her debut earlier this year with One World Symphony singing the Ophelia Lieder of Strauss. Future engagements include singing the soprano solo in Handel’s Messiah in the magnificent West Point Cadet Chapel this December, making a debut with Hudson Opera Theatre in the title role in Bellini’s Norma, and in 2016, performing Strauss’ Vier Letzte Lieder with the SUNY Orange Symphonic Ensemble.

Ms. Mackintosh, currently managed by MIA International Artists Management, maintains a full-time private voice studio, is the chorus master for DVO and holds the position of music director at St. Paul’s Methodist Church in Middletown, NY.
